Wildlife expert John McGeachy is a Golden Isles native, Eagle Scout, and lifelong enthusiast of the coast. From a young age, he explored the marshes and waterways, developing both a deep admiration for the region’s distinctive habitat and a commitment to preserving its fragile ecology. A proud graduate of Glynn Academy and the University of Georgia, John has returned from Senoia, Georgia to his coastal roots, eager to share his knowledge and passion for the natural ecosystems he holds so dear.
When he’s not carefully managing wildlife or solving nuisance animal problems, John can often be found boating through the intracoastal waterways or casting a line at Gould’s Inlet. Beyond his professional dedication, he cherishes his role as father of three wonderful
daughters, and feels profoundly grateful to live, work, and give back to the vibrant coastal community where it all began.
